The card text for Saber Dart and the glossary do not seem to agree. The glossary seems like the most natural interpretation, though, and it is also supposed to be the controlling definition. I just wanted to confirm.
Card Text
Replaces attacks: Choose 1 enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover. Target character takes 20 damage and is poisoned; save 11. Each time the poisoned character activates, it takes 20 damage and must attempt a save of 11. On a failure, that character is still poisoned. On a success, that character is no longer poisoned.
Glossary Text
Instead of this character’s normal attack or attacks, it can target one enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover. The target takes 20 damage and is also considered to be poisoned. A save of 11 negates this effect. Each time the poisoned character activates, it must make a save 11. On a success, it is no longer poisoned. On a failure, it takes 20 damage and is still poisoned.
According to the card, if you fail the initial save you take 20 damage initially and then 20 damage on your next activation. After you have taken that 20 damage, you then attempt the save to stop being poisoned. According to the glossary, the save comes first and can negate the additional damage. This matches up with how it works for corruption and other similar abilities, so I assume the glossary is correct.

I hadn't noticed that.
I suspect you are correct that it follows the corruption mechanic.
Sithborg will have to confirm which it is.
