Just wondering if anyone tried doing a custom mini of the AAT on Phantom Menace. I'm thinking of doing that custom piece and can't figure out why Wizards never included it as a unit for the game.

Several people have done cards of their own idea's of an AAT, and several toys/models are close enough in scale that making your own would be more of an exercise in whimsy than anything else.
Cheers

@Chrinch Theres some awesome models out now to fill that weird gap that WotC left... I always wish they did a themed battle pack for the Republic/CIS of an LAAT/i vs an AAT. The imps get their war walker ATAT, and ridiculous amounts of ATSTs... gah well...
The StarWars Transformers crossover AAT into OOM battledroid figure, by hasbro, is ~1:48-1:53 scale, and as such is a bit small but works with SWminis. Revell released an AAT model kit, its ~1:50 scale and nearest to SWMscale, as Imperator58 reviewed sometime ago... there are also then 'knockoff' kits, rdickson(if I recall?) from WotC forums was a neat kit and Azrikels kit also looked neat. and a miniature tank droid RCcar exists out there, its 1;49 scale, so that'd be ideal.
I think there are also papercraft model kits out there...
