I was about to start a game with a couple other guys, and realized at the last moment that I tossed my homemade print outs for BDO and BDS as I had some coming in the mail. Scrambling to get a seps squad together at the last moment, I ended up with a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid... During setup, there was only 1 spot in my area where he would fit. Well, by the time it came time for me to want to move him, I realized my HORRIBLE mistake: There was NO way for it to move in ANY direction LOL Unsure No Bloo Milk . Pretty bad huh?

So my question is: What are some good maps to play Huges (even Rigid ones) on? Obviously, the Droid Factory/Arena (not sure of it's exact name, but I believe it came with the Clone Strike Ultimate Missions guide) is a great choice, as it has very few tight areas, though they'll be right out in the open...

What are your thoughts? BlooMilk

I believe in tournament, huges can "squeeze" and no longer have Rigid. Check swmgamers.com and the FAQ there but Im nearly positive that pieces with Rigid can ignore those restrictions in tourney play. They of course need to end their move in a legal space Smile

Rancor Pen seems good, although I have yet to play on that map yet.

We did use an X-1 Viper Droid on the Tractor Beam Coupling map. That was pretty neat. It could only start in the Hanger Bay but it could get around most of the map. There were a bunch of places to get out of sight until doors were forced open by override or a satchel charge. Then it could even maneuver and take aim in most of those places at well.

It's true that in tournament play, all characters lose Rigid. This is probably a good idea to use in your casual games as well, because a lot of the maps DO make Huge characters almost impossible to use if the have Rigid. Being able to squeeze lets them move through passages that are 2 squares wise, which opens up a lot more maps.

Ok, thanks guys! I never knew that they lose Rigid in tourneys... I'll probably use that.

Mos Eisly Space Port (I think that's spelled wrong) is a pretty good one too. The only thing is the top and a little od one side are some small rooms.
