If your attack would defeat a character that makes a save to return to your starting area and you have Twin Attack, what happens next?

a) even though you may or may not be adjacent or have line of sight, you still get your Twin because the figure is still on the map (due to Resolving Effects step 13 "when defeated" returns the fig before step 16 of resolving Twin)

b) the figure left the map and is returned so is treated like a new figure and you don't get the Twin

c) something else

If the character is no longer a legal target for the attacker, the twin attack is lost

So... What happens if the character is set up and is a legal target? Do you still get the Twin Attack?

Thanks Swinefeld and Sithborg for the answers. That is what we thought at the time, but we second guessed ourselves.
