"Nimbus Commando allies gain Opportunist, Self-Destruct 20, and Outflank (If this character combines fire with an ally farther away than 6 squares, and the attack hits, damage from that attack can’t be prevented or redirected, that enemy has -6 Defense until the end of the round, and may not move until the end of the round.)"
I remember someone complaining about how the "Divide and Conquer" doesnt work in SWM, so I wanted to give Alto Stratus a CE that I think is the first of its kind.
Thoughts?

I think the -6 defense is a bit much. Perhaps -4 or -2.

If you were to make a game based on real - world combat (at least as far as infantry vs. infantry, I am not going to get into the full application of modern War), it would be take cover, fire at the enemy, lay suppression fire, advance towards the enemy, fire at the enemy, lay suppression...etc. Until they are dead. And since one "hit" is really all it takes, Melee pieces would not exist.
You know what they say about people who carry knives. They got shot.
The fact that a melee character can even be remotely useful in a combat-based game is going to drastically alter it from how real-world combat takes place, so there is really no point in trying to compare this game's tactics/abilities to that of the real world.
