For the last couple weeks or so I've been playing these really long skirmishes between unique characters and non-uniques. This setup was interesting for me because of the constant battle between brains and brawn, but more so skill vs numbers. Like a zombie shootout.

Anyway, I took all 14 of my unique characters: Count Dooku of Sereno; Boushh, Ubese Hunter, Zuckuss, Bounty Hunter; GOWK, General Grievous, Scourge of the Jedi; General Skywalker; Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler; Canderous Ordo; Deliah Blue; Jax Pavan; Luminara Unduli, Jedi Master; Barriss Offee, Jedi Knight; Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin; Grand Master Yoda.

I had probably about 100 non-uniques

Each phase worked like this; the Us had two activations, while the NUs activate a single 'squad'. Each squad consists of 6-8 squares(8 mediums/1 Large+6 Mediums) from all factions and eras. I eliminated commander effect's completely.

The NUs were attempting to capture a R7 droid in the middle of the map.

They battles on the Teth Monastery map, and the NUs were get slaughtered! Canderous Ordo fired into the hordes of NUs, and without a high defense or HP, nearly every hit was a kill. His triple attack was insanely effective, and I supplemented his defense with some cover. The other ranged characters were taking some shots, and killing a few, but nothing was as powerful as Ordo in this scenario. The other jedi were doing decent, but they didn't have enough attacks to take out as many as they needed. Some 501st troopers from the Dark Times were getting some powerful hits, and Boushh and Grievous died pretty early. I think the Us would have won, except that I kind of got bored at the end, and I killed all the Us by dropping in and reviving more NUs. LOL

A game I played before was a little more interesting, and it had the same characters against the same NUs. This time it was Coruscant Streets, and the Us were hanging out in the casino. The NUs were doing decidedly better. Grievous had attempted to stem the flow of NUs and got himself surrounded in the little garage. He went down just before vader came in. Now that the NUs had taken the garage, they poured out of the exit on the left, and Dooku, Luminara, and Boushh were slicing lots of them down, but they went down after some lucky shots.

Oh, and I left the bodies on the map, so they really piled up. So you couldn't even see the map itself.

Comments? Thoughts?

I personally thought it'd be better with more ranged characters, and some more Fringe characters. But whatever.

Sounds really interesting. Was this a solo play?

What was a single squad activation? What did that mean? Everyone in the squad went at the same time? Did leaving on the bodies hinder movement? Seems like it would be pretty crazy - how did characters move around them?

Nobody as really caught on to SWM by me, so yes, solo play. Yes, all the NUs activated at once, and the bodies didn't really hinder movement, but only because I was one person. They would have hindered movement if I had played with another person. Like difficult terrain.

If I do it again, it'll be with another person, and more rules. Glad you liked it!
