We haven't done one of these for a while, but with Regional season winding down and the boards a bit quiet, I'm keen for a revive. I don't own this map, and have never played on it, so I'm keen to know what you guys think.

I don't believe I've played on this map yet. If I have, it was just a casual game with my son where nothing memorable happened. I'm interested to hear how it plays.

I haven't played on this map either, but I'd like to know what squads do very well on it. I looks as if this map is favorable to all melee squads as it gives a nice way to approach the center without being shot at.

it has been a while since I have played on it so I don't remember much of how it plays, why do you say that Sithborg?

It is 100% huge unfriendly, and extremely large unfriendly. All those one square corridors makes things extremely tight for any sort of formations. Not to mention beveled edges galore. There is not middle ground. You either have long LOS, or it is extremely cramped.

its biggest issue is the huge unfriendly nature of it.

Its lack of doors is its best attribute.

I quite like it and feel the huge issue is moot because huges are generally unusable as most maps can't hide them.

i don't agree its the worst map on the restricted list. I think its one of Chris Wests best maps. It doesn't have the extreme imbalance of a lot of his shipping maps.

Can you describe those imbalances? Left/right? Shooty/melee? Lancer-auto-win?

I have had a lot of fun on this map, namely battling a pumped up Vong war master team who had stolen my bes'kar gam CE. And my "flame mech" bes'kar gamed up bounty hunters trying to burn through the Vong's double shields. It was a cat and mouse game using the tight corridors to trap war master as my big pieces kept on the move.

Also this map is great for a zombie rakghoul variant we play.

Personally I really like the change of pace, though not a fan of the huge unfreindliness off course

I really like this map a lot. Its paths for characters to trace and art evoke the scene very well, and it's a scene that is very different from all of the other Star Wars maps (despite being part of the same major transportation hub as the other Christopher West maps in the same series).
