I bought most of the first 4 sets years ago, and have just started getting back into the hobby. I am trying to collect one of every model from all 16 sets (800 models). Right now I am trying to organize them into their respectful sets and use the check lists to see which ones I have and which ones I'm missing. Once I collect every figure I want to get a carrying case for each faction and organize them that way, there are 10 factions in total so I will need a good amount of cases. I currently have 2 good cases but they are not made anymore and I am looking to see what other players use to carry their figures around in.

I use a set of these for my stuff: One cart is for rares, the other for C/UCs I go from top to bottom: Old Republic/Republic Rebel/New Republic Sith/Separatist/Mandalorian Imperial/Vong Fringe The last drawer in one cart is my supplies (Dice/Maps/Laser pointer/Extra rule books/Cards not kept in binders) and in the other is my most commonly used Fringe C/UCs. I also have another 3 drawer cart with large drawers for my huges and Djerrik minis, but there's little order there.

That looks awesome thank you. Where would I get one like this? (I live in Canada)

(I'm also looking for a way of storage.)

Lowes has some nice hardware storage drawers that I have taken to using lately. And to carry them around I use Tackleboxes but I tend to only carry a squad or 2 with me at once.

I keep my entire collection of 963 in 2 tackle boxes similar to the plano storage box posted above. One is quite large and one is medium size. Huges and larges go in the upper compartments. I find these work really well for keeping it all organized and accessible.
Maps, cards and other supplies I keep separately.

I use a former tool case that is some kind of shiny metal. It looks pretty sweet and it fits my modest collection of around 200-250 minis with maps and all. It works nicely and is incredibly sturdy but it can get a little heavy. it has plenty of dividers and sections and fits several small tackle boxes in it. I would have no idea where you could get one but it looks something like this but slightly bigger: http://www.startstop.com/cc-pro.html It also locks for extra security.
