Here are the Rules:
1. The character must be cannon and from the chosen faction. (can have affinity)
2. You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)
3. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hardLaugh)
4. Please rate the characters in this contest, however don't be so base as to 1 bomb the other characters in this contest. This is a friendly contest, just have fun, be honest and do your best.
5. Voting will look like this: "I rated so-and-so(A) an 8, so-and-so(B) an 9, and so-and-so(C) a 7. My vote goes to so-and-so(B). (this vote counts as 1 point) Please feel free to comment on why you made your choice, (what you liked) or not and just put your scores.
6. The character that is rated the highest in the Bloo Milk rating system will receive a bonus of 2 points. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive (for example: so-and-so(B) received 3 individual votes and received the bonus 2 for being the highest rated character for a total of 5 points)

The schedule for this week will be slightly different as we are starting a day later. We have today, Wednesday, and Thursday to create/update your characters. Friday will be the deadline to have your character entered (also this is when you should pick the one you'll run with) Voting will begin Saturday and will last until Monday afternoon. Then the winner will be announced Monday night and he/she will chose the character for next week's CCC. May the force be with you!

I'm just thankful that we dodged the bullet and he didn't pick Luke!LaughLOL
Yeah we got alot of Vaders but not a single one is in the Sith faction, (despite several of them having sith in their name) so I think that is a fair enough reason to create another. Also remember Anakin IS the main character of Star Wars, so he deserves to have the most versions.Wink

While I have have no problems with new (good) versions of Darth Vader, like WotC I have reservations about the character in the Sith faction. He was a masterfully manipulated, petulant child with power who bought into Palpatine's Empire far more than the ideals of the Sith. Semantics, you say? Perhaps.

Was that WotC's argument? I had never heard that and I understand it. At the same time we don't see much of Palpatine and Vader's interactions in the Dark Times. Palpatine was sorta still adhearing to the rule of two and the sith ideals.

If he is that unpopular a choice I have another that I just thought of (and other back ups.)

EDIT: I actually picked him because I thought it would be a popular choice that people got excited about Scared

Nice pick Andy! I got this made already Woot

Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero, one of my favorite customs I've made: http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/14677/anakin-skywalker--fallen-hero

He has a lot of hard hitting offense, like Anakin/Vader, but has less defense.

He was trained in Djem So/Shien (represented by Reflect), so that's why Djem So/Reflect are there (didn't put my Shein, to help with balance).

Obviously, this represents pre-suit Vader, so that's why he has the 501st synergy, and Jedi Hunter always fits BigGrin.

Assault represents Anakin's mobile fighting style (WotC represented it with Momentum/GMA etc. often).

Indiscriminate represents him slaughtering the Diplomats on Mustafar/fighting his friends.

And of course he was in a great fury/rage at the time, so Razz.

Oh! And he was good at LS throws.

So that's the 'why' to all his abilities. It DID fit on a card pretty well, as most of the abilities are shorter ones, and you can stack FR1/MotF/F3 etc. in one. I also trimmed him a bit since making the card. This piece DOES have the most abilities of any I've made though.

Alright guys, I sat out the first round but I already had this made so I thought I'd use it. I did change a little but it's basically the same as before:

http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/11534/darth-vader-of-mustafar

This was based on Vader when he was sent mustafar to deal with the CIS leaders and he encounters pad'me and obi. His abilities represent what he use against obi after pad'me is choked.

Well, I didn't feel like making this one frankly, but I also took it as a challenge to do something I Didn't feel into it so hereeee's Anakin ...

This is Anakin in the Temple, pissed off to the Max and killing everything in sight.

I Didn't give him any lightsaber styles like Djem So because he's too ticked to be fancy, but I gave him Parry because I can see his face saying "your puny attack can't get to Me" and just brushing attacks aside with disdain.

Indiscriminate would've been nice, but since its Jedi he's killing, thats a pretty certain target so he gets Jedi Hunter instead. Rage and Overwhelming goes with the ticked mode ... could've gone with Reflect since I gave him Parry but I decided to stick with LtSaber D as a backup when he takes on Cin and Serra.

Once again, I figured 61 - 65; went with 64 this time. Oh well, 0 to card in 2:35:00 minutes (including picking and cleaning up a pic) so not bad for speed cardmaking ....

Cheers

Hit Points: 130
Defense: 21
Attack: 16
Damage: 20
Rarity: Very Rare
Base: Medium
Gender: Male

Special Abilities
Unique
Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
Triple Attack (On his turn, this character can make 2 extra attacks instead of moving)
Dark Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)
Djem So Style Mastery (Whenever this character is hit by a melee attack, make a save of 11. On a success, this character can make an immediate attack against that attacker with +10 Damage.)
Doctrine of Fear (Enemy characters within 6 squares get -4 Attack)
Jedi Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings)
Force Powers
Force 2
Force Renewal 2 (This character gets 2 Force points each time he activates)
Master of the Force 2 (May spend Force points up to 2 times in a single turn)
Sith Rage (Force 1: +10 Damage on all attacks this turn)
Overwhelming Force (Force 1: This character's attacks cannot be prevented or redirected this turn)
Lightsaber Deflect (Force 1: When hit by a nonmelee attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)
Force Grip 4 (Force 4, replaces attacks: sight; 40 damage)

Always liked the idea of Doctrine of Fear on a Vader, albeit powerful. I dropped his defense a bit because of it. But, Vader embodied fear. The galaxy feared him like no other ruler/sith lord (personal opinion, could be debated)

For Speed card making plus the fact that you weren't all that exited to make this guy, you did a Fantastic job!
Parry and Overwhelming Force really gives him an advantage against Jedi. (not to mention the obvious Jedi Hunter)
I like the Lightsaber Throw 2 with Overwhelming Force combo, it has inspired me to make a Imperial Vader (can't win this contest but still gonna make him) Everything fits him well and as always Love the image!

Yours is nice Surfrider, though it lacks any way for those 501st to get into his squad if I'm correct. DieAndBeMetal made a cool one too; post-suit Vader it appears, with a nice mix of abilities, and a good balance cost-wise I think.

That's debatable at best, and applies to a number of other Sith throughout the eras.

Here's my entry:

Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare

Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare
Cost 45
Sith
HP 110
Def 22
Atk 12
Dmg 20
Unique, Melee Attack, Double Attack
Cyborg (Counts as both a Droid and a non-Droid; living; subject to critical hits and commander effects)
Mighty Swing (On his turn, if this character doesn't move, he gets +10 Damage against adjacent enemies)
Jedi Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings)
Djem So Style (Whenever this character is hit by a melee attack, make a save of 11. On a success, this character can make an immediate attack against that attacker)
Dark Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)

Force 5
Lightsaber Block
Overwhelming Force (Force 1: This character's attacks cannot be prevented or redirected this turn)
Force Crush (Force 3, replaces attacks: range 6; 30 damge to target living enemy. That enemy is wounded (Each time the wounded character activates, it must attempt a save of 11. On a failure, that character gains Speed 2 for the rest of the turn. On a success, that character is no longer wounded)
Sith Rage (Force 1: +10 Damage on all attacks this turn)

"Twisted by the dark side, young Skywalker has become. The boy you trained, gone he is… consumed by Darth Vader." ―Yoda to Obi-Wan Kenobi

This represents Vader shortly after donning his infamous black armor. He is filled with hatred towards the Jedi (hence Jedi Hunter) and rage towards himself for killing Padme (hence Sith Rage). Still adjusting to his new armor, he has trouble moving quickly but is still able to utilise strength and the Djem So Style (hence Overwhelming Force, Mighty Swing, and Djem So. I didn't give him Pilot because I didn't want him to have access to Speed 8 and Evade). Force Crush represents the legendary throat choke, whether with his gloved fist or with the Force. Mechanically, he is very capable of dueling and killing Jedi, but will have trouble surviving against shooters, so he is well balanced imo. I gve him Cyborg because not enough Vaders have it and it should be on every isngle one.
