Last week I was going through the WotC forums and downloading various threads of interest, when I came across this website:
http://newswminisdatabase.proboards.com/It seems like it was a pretty interesting place, in its heyday. It appears that it hosted the development of various custom sets, including the New Lost Twenty. However, it is pretty much abandoned now.
Which comes to my next point: is there any reason NOT to try and revive it? I'm certain that it could be useful for the users on BlooMilk who like to develop custom sets; after all, BlooMilk comments on pieces and various threads are no replacement for a dedicated forum. In addition, I'm certain that there are one or two other uses that it could be used for.
Is anyone here reading this an ex-member of this site? If so, what was it like? And what do you think about the idea of resurrecting it from the dead?
And for you major custom makers out there, what do you think about the possibility of having a separate, dedicated forum/site for custom making? Is it a good idea, or a bad one?
