I'm still a little fuzzy on where I need to be with GAT. If an enemy targets one of my allies with a force ability, like re-roll the GAT would normally cancel, but GAT is not within 6 of either character, but is within 6 of a spot that line of sight for the force ability has to cross, would that cancel the force ability?
And just to clarify, as long as he is within 6 of either character it cancels the force ability, like a reroll, right?

If the "Field Area" isn't within 6 of either the target or the active user, it doesn't affect anything. One easy way to think of it is "If it affects you (Sith Rage, Force Leap, Lightsaber Precision, Self-Healing, etc), then it is fine. But if it affects others-be it allies or enemies-, it won't.
There's more to it as things cause weird interactions, but most of this is sound.
