"Choose 1 enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover."

Can you choose stealth or cloaked enemies?

Does that mean that someone with accurate shot can shoot a cloaked or stealthed person as well. I suppose ignoring cover is the key because those people do not have those abilities without cover?

Ignoring cover means you ignore the effects of cover on whether or not they are a legal target. Accurate Shot works differently. It gets past Stealth, due to the wording, but not Cloaked.

I just read and saw that accurate does not provide cover.

Thanks. Cloaked says, "cannot be targeted by nonadjacent enemies". It would seem that nothing, short of being adjacent could target someone cloaked. Why would Lightsaber throw 5 "trump" cloaked?

Cloaked only works in cover. LST 3 and 5 ignore cover. In effect anyone in line of sight has no cover for Targeting.

You forgot the part about "If this character has cover". Since Lightsaber Throw 5 ignores all effects of cover on whether or not an enemy is a legal target, Cloaked has no effect.

right. They ignore it, but do not remove it. The wording is tripping me up. Both definitions seem to be firm. I guess ignore is synonymous with remove?

The targets still have the Stealth and Cloaked, but those abilities have no effect if the target doesn't have cover.

Due to the wording on Stealth and Cloaked, Accurate Shot will "see through" Stealth, but not through Cloaked. It also doesn't see through 'super stealth'. 'Super stealth' is not an official game term, but it is the commonly used term for the effect granted by several commanders: Moff Nyna Calixte, Rebel Commando Strike Leader, Nom Anor, Mirith Sinn, Dug Black Sun Vigo, Clone Commander Bacara, Scout Trooper Officer, Niles Ferrier.

Abilities that ignore cover see through Stealth, Cloaked, and super-stealth.

Ahhhh, man. What is super stealth? I play with the RCSL, but thought his CE was just clarifying stealth.

"Super Stealth" is the term given to certain CE's. Basically, it turns Stealth into Cloaked, although there are a few weird interactions with those CE's and Stealth can produce that Cloaked doesn't, due to wording.

So...super stealth is as good and sometimes better than cloaked?

Here are the 'super-stealth' commander effects:

Super Stealth Commander Effects

They grant the effect of Cloaked without actually granting the special ability. As mentioned, there are a few weird interactions, but if you think of it like Cloaked, you'll be right 95% of the time.

Super-stealth is better than Stealth, but not as good as Cloaked. "Ignores cover" abilities get through both Cloaked and Super-Stealth, but Super-Stealth is also eliminated by It's a Trap and anything that suppresses commander effects. (Or if the commander is killed.)

Super Stealth is usually as good, but sometimes Worse than Cloaked. You can get around it with things like Force Sense or It's a Trap! where those don't affect Cloaked.

Excellent responses! That makes sense. Kreia is granted cloaked by spending 3 force points. Would her cloaked go away if within 6 of ysalamari?

Not if she had spent the force points before coming into range of the Ysalamiri.
