From the FAQ
Q: Can other characters combine fire on a Lightsaber Throw? A: No. This character still has Melee Attack even though certain abilities interact as if it's a nonmelee attack

I have a few Follow ups to this one then.
1. Can a Character Like Grievous have someone else combine fire with him while using Blaster 20? (I am guessing no because of the above ruling)
2. Can Characters that do not have melee attack, that can make attacks that count as a melee attack, still be combined fire with when they are making a melee attack? (IE: Gauntlet Knife, Poisoned blade, ETC)

Sort of the flipside of the FAQ below. 2. Q: Can other characters combine fire with a character when Poisoned Blade is in effect? A: No. It's not clear in the rulebook, but a character making a melee attack is not allowed to combine fire even if it doesn't have the Melee Attack special ability. This will be clarified in a future version of the rules.

I'm sure Blaster counts as a non-melee attack. Sithborg has said that the game currently does not have non-adjacent melee attacks. (Hopefully it never does... Riposte from far away is just too weird. Even weirder than non-melee Lightsaber attacks. And, yes, there are non-melee pieces with Riposte... Brianna for example.) But since Grievous doesn't actually *lose* Melee Attack, I'd guess that it works like Lightsaber Throw and you can't combine fire. (Kinda counterintuitive, but that would be consistent with the LS Throw ruling.)

Yeah, that's probably a better explanation.
Odd that I'm not finding anything that directly states Blaster is a non-melee attack though. Maybe there was some blue Nickname text somewhere along the way.
