http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/132398/charging-snowtroopersI've played this squad twice now and it was pretty dominant both times. One game was versus ABM, which I expected to be difficult. However, I came to appreciate Disra for the first time. MVP to Disra. He pretty much single-handedly won the game by keeping all the CEs in play. The troopers are boosted to ridiculous levels, but without CEs they're nothing. I'm sure a strafer would give this squad fits, but Disruptive/ABM needs to be paired with an accurate shooter, to stop it.
Snowtroopers are +12/30 damage with 24 square range with a Zygerrian. If they stay close to home and get Twin from the Czerka and their squad abilities, they're +16/40 followed by a twin for +16/30. 12 square range.
Bothans provide door control and auto-damage with mines.
This is a popular build as two other snowtrooper swarm squads have also been posted in the past couple days:
http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/132168/snow-swarm-stormhttp://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/132749/v6--welcome-to-hoth-Daala and Snowtrooper Officer are no-brainers to get the big rapport. Beyond that, the troopers need their attack boosted further. There are several options.
Piett and/or GARY: Opportunist or Cunning also provide a damage boost. Piett costs more and is not as good of an attacker on his own, but Opportunist is usually easier to get off, especially with this many activations. On the other hand, if you have Accurate Shot from Veers, Cunning isn't so hard to use.
Snowtrooper Officer: Straight +4 and another +4 through Squad Assault. The Snowtrooper Commander already makes it easier to use squad abilities, so adding Squad Assault isn't a bad idea.
Captain Needa: Rerolling at +4 attack should be pretty safe if they're already boosted to +12 or +16. However, it's not very reliable becuase after one miss this re-roll is gone.
None of the above: If you don't use any of them, you could add a few more troopers and just rely on combining fire. That makes deep strikes much more difficult, though, and maybe impossible.
Then there's the Imperial Triumvirate.
Flim makes a deep (24-range) strike more likely to work by allowing a trooper to shoot twice after charging 24 even without having the Czerka nearby.
Moff Disra is crucial against Disruptive/ABM, but he is made of paper. He also allows you to bring in 10 points of Fringe pieces as Imperial so they benefit from Daala's Prideful.
Grodin Tierce's Clone is another option for boosting attack if you aren't bringing the Snowtrooper Officer. With Daala's help, he's at +14/30dmg x2, so he's a pretty good shooter himself.
But if you take the Triumvirate, you can't use
Pellaeon. The force bubble is very good, obviously (especially for ABM protection), but this squad is too large to fit everyone inside the bubble anyway. Pellaeon also grants flexibility in case you want to add
Ozzel with the option to drop him.

You can see the decisions I made above. I thought Accurate Shot was important, as well as 24 square range (3 Zygerrians). I didn't take Cunning or Opportunist just becuase of the cost of the commanders. Insted, the Snowtrooper Officer gets the trooper attack to a decent level. Disra is there because the whole squad fails without the CEs. Not sure what to do against ABM + Accurate, though. I guess Bribery should bring in a bodyguard in that case.
This squad is a lot of fun, but it would probably fail pretty hard to any strafe/gallop piece.
Thoughts?
