I haven't had the chance to be on the boards much since GenCon - but there was a lot of speculation as to exactly what was in my squad. No - I did not have Whorm OR IG-86s. I'll write more later, but I was happy to have placed higher than any other separatist squad in championship history. http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/124670/npe-extreme-----NPE EXTREME!!!-- 36 Darth Sidious 30 IG Lancer Droid 27 Lobot 13 Kel Dor Bounty Hunter 12 Gha Nachkt 12 Klatooinian Assassin 10 San Hill 9 Poggle the Lesser 8 Battle Droid Officer 14 R7 Astromech Droid x2 28 Geonosian Drone x14 (199pts. 25 activations)

tough squad for almost anyone to face. Massive activations for end of round punishment. MTB for auto inits and to supply the fuse. Auto damage out the yazoo and a flying strafer to gain door dominance and disruptive control.
Owned my rebels more than 3 times.
Shut down by Marn.
Who'da thunk?

Who'da thunk? wonder what would of happened had tim used the muun to kill poggle and had ricky's characters lose self destruct as well? Then Tim would of been able to strafe with no worry about selfdestruct, but without the bombs I wonder how it would of played out....

Nice job Timmer! Cool squad for sure.
On an off-note, has anyone else noticed how much harder it is to find Drones these days? Wonder why...

Tim said in retrospect that is what he would've/should've done.

tough to say.
Jareal has a possible 29 square reach to get to the speeder and without the geno's to guard against deep strikes it might be hard for him to protect it. The turbo lifts on spynet also give great lancer protection.
However, if Tim could get to Ricky's door control then using the turbolifts might be a dangerous tactic as the pieces might get locked in there. HE would only have 2 bombs but his MTB might give him enough of an advantage to let the lancer run wild. There is no way for
The match would've been totally different.
