They will be printed and mass released with V-set 7. I don't know if there are any extra GenCon Promos floating around

Just noting again that they are not legal for sanctioned tournament play until the normal version cards are released. I just uploaded them to be a nice guy, since they have been spoiled anyway. I hope they don't take away my key to the executive washroom.

I thought it was decided it was up to the TO...which led to some confusion.

The BHC Yoda and Dooku were not foil. A bunch of foils were printed off, and were used as promos. I believe I got Lando, Jedi Exile, and Revan.
It is unclear if that will happen again. I believe traditional foils were pretty expensive.

As in... is it default legal and a TO can make an exception to make them illegal. Or is it default illegal and the TO can make an exception to make them legal. Finally determined that they were not officially legal until the next Vset.

Star Wars Miniatures models are allowed in both SWMGPA-sanctioned Constructed and Limited tournaments as soon as they are published in a set. Prerelease models and promo miniatures are not allowed in sanctioned play unless they are a part of a set that has been released. So really it's just about 'official' tournaments using the sanctioned formats. Kinda like with the restricted map lists. Otherwise, what happens in the privacy of your own homes/LGS is your business.

Well I'm glad for the refresher on how that worked since Game Hole Con is coming up in November.

Just to clear up a few things.
The foils were not ordered by any of the V-set crew. Joe, who works for the printer is a SWM player and shipped a group of foil cards out with the shipment of vset 6. Saying there are a bunch can be misleading. There were enough that Jason was able to give them out as "thanks yous" to the desgners. I don't have the complete list of foils, but I would say there might be 10 to 15 different characters. I am also unsure about the number of each, but I know there was not enough to give each designer a complete set.
I also know that there are foils that were left over and they might be going into regional prize support for the season. So these cards are going to be pretty rare.

Who is making these BHC figures? Cause they are exceptionally well done:) I like all of them so far, which I can't say for the rest of the v- sets as a whole, but these guys are awesome.
