I've Seen A whole Lot Of People Trying To Create Squads To Teach New People The Game... So, Why Not Just Make A Sub Set In The V Sets Of 2 Squads That Go together Purely ForThis Purpose? This Way We Could Make The Pieces As Simple Or Complex As We Want?

Sounds like a great idea.

I like this idea too. The starter sets never really had enough pieces to make for a fun game. I'd like to see 2 evenly matched 100 point, 5-8 activation squads.

Probably because the existing pieces are already better for teaching the game.

Sounds like it would be a waste of pieces. Why not the community just agree on a basic 100 pt learning squad out of the 1000+ figures we already have? And just unanimously name that the best tutorial squad in the game?

Can't be better than something that doesn't exist since there's no comparison, and if the sole purpose was to design 2 squads to go against each other for the purpose of teaching the game, I'm sure the designers could optimize it (for a clean introduction and an interesting game) better than anything we have right now. But what we have right now is probably sufficient. With Vsets shrinking, there's even less room for something like this, and it's probably not worth the slots anyway. Still - great idea if we had the space.

Test 22 Imperial Knight 14 Stormtrooper Officer 13 Shock Trooper 9 Imperial Engineer 12 Death Star Trooper x2 30 Stormtrooper x6 (100pts. 12 activations) Test 27 Ferus Olin 21 Rebel Captain 11 Rebel Commando Munitions Expert 11 Rebel Vanguard 30 Rebel Trooper x6 (100pts. 10 activations)

^ Seems kinda unbalanced in favor of the Rebels. Love the idea, by the way.
