I omited Boba Mandalore since he is an Epic and can only Be used against other epics. I chose Mercenary because of how easily he can mesh into other factions and do really well. My personal favourite being New Republic

I think Merc has been the best since his release. While Merc Commander is a good pieces, I don't know that he's as useful, namely because his faction limitations. Even with the growing power of the mando's since the VSETS, I'd say that the boosts provided to the mandos don't necessarily boost Merc Commander, and his cost for access to accurate shot seems to be better spent on cheaper commanders or more mando scouts.
That being said, I think Boba Merc, while a solid piece, just isn't that solid by todays standards. I am honestly surprised that we have gotten multiple Maras, Vaders, Mauls, Revans, and Ventresses, but not any new boba options other than epics and low cost filler. The new baby boba is alright, but I havent heard of anyone actually fielding him, and he's not the characters normal representation (who immediately thinks of episode 2 boba when they hear the name boba fett?). Sounds like we're overdue for a better representation of the fanboy favorite.

Personally I'm a huge fan or Boba, Merc because 1) he is the only Boba I have. 2) I think he goes very well with Mirta Gev and Mandalore the Resurrector in the Mandos.

I have to try out that version as well. In Mandos you can get him to go 12 and do 160 with Mirta, Kelborn, the Captain, and Mandalore. (Double/Twin Cunning and Advantageous, in theory his attack would only be 2 less than with Talon if you can get Synergy with Mirta, but he might move too far from her with his flight.) It has worked out well for me the few times I've tried to play it. It is top heavy on cunning but everyone of them is a solid attacker which is really nice. (save maybe the captain, I've never had luck shooting with him)

I'm a retro kinda guy. I like RS boba Fett, he is simple, effective and appropriately costed. His full damage potential is limited if he moves. Base stats are appropriate to the boba or ROTJ.

I know you have to be careful designing a new piece and you are going to have complaints no matter how he turns out but as it stands now we have a situation where one of the most iconic Star Wars characters ever has essentially no place in the competitive game. I don't really care if none of the other Boba's ever get fielded in a squad again, they see basically zero play as is so it wouldn't be that big a deal imo.
