Can the mini with charging assault and melee reach 3 (Leviathon) stop the charge 3 spaces away from the enemy and still get the bonus? With Exar Kuhn, 3 spaces away, will it also get the momentum bonus? Thanks in advance...............................

Yes, however, it must still try to get adjacent if possible if it is under the effects of Savage, so you can't stop short and use Melee Reach if you can base them.
And yes, Momentum will work with Melee Reach as when MR is in effect, the characters are considered adjacent for all purposes.

Melee Reach counts adjacency when Attacking. Adjacency for Savage is during movement.

Then what is the point of any Savage having Melee Reach at all, if they never get to use it?

Well, with the revised version, they can actually use it a lot more than originally. While they do have to move adjacent, if possible, now they don't have to attack that character they are truly adjacent to.
