Does the term "Allies" include other commanders?

ie. Does Trawn (IE) give Vader IC opportunist? Vader IC is a commander, but the glossary says an ally is other characters in your squad.

Thanks

Yes, allies are all other characters in your squad, whether they be follower or commander.

An ally is any character in your squad, regardless of commander effects.

Yes, "Allies" effects allied character even if they have a Commander effect. So yes everyone in Thrawn's squad gets Opportunist except of course savage characters, Droids and Thrawn himself

One other thing to note: When playing team games, your teammate's characters are also considered allies and thus would be susceptible to CEs involving allies.

By extension, CEs that specify "followers" or "characters in your squad" only affect pieces in that same squad.

I'm confused... you said 'by extension' as if you were extending the same idea, but your explanation for followers and 'characters in your squad' works differently from what EmporerDragon said for allies.
