If an at-st is partially on a green square they get cover, but if they move into multiple other green squares and hang halfway off of them as it moves, does each step count as 2 squares?

If any square of the base moves into difficult terrain/low objects, then it counts as moving 2.

Where you start never matters. If you move into a square of low objects/difficult terrain, it counts as double the movement, even if it was a square occupied by a different square of the figure before the movement.

Wait, a huge piece gets cover if only ONE of its squares is in low objects?

So, If a medium character is on a green square and moves into another green square that counts as 2? I did not know that.
