 We played on Boarding Action this past weekend. I was curious as to why the map didn't make the restricted list. I know with the newest list, some maps were left out just because they wanted to keep the lists smaller even though there are some 'worthy' maps not on the restricted list. But Boarding Action was already left off the restricted list before that happened. It seemed to hit the main requirements for the restricted list... * Gambit has some protection * Huges can move (though not necessarily all that much room) * Balanced between sides * Commanders can be protected at least somewhat The only thing that jumps out is that with so many doors perhaps Override is too much of an advantage on this map. Was that the reason?

Any objections to adding this to the restricted list?
I've only played on this a handful of times. I will say that it tends to be somewhat predictable... gambit is right there through the main airlock, so that's where combat tends to be. We have had some combat come through the auxiliary airlock, but I haven't seen the docking tube used.

Personally I am not a fan of this map for the same reason you listed. There is really only one way to play this map, which to me defeats the purpose.

Isn't it obvious? In the middle of the left-hand ship, there is a portion that has been significantly damaged. Until the owners of that ship can get that bit fixed, it probably won't be considered.

The enclosed tile does in fact repair that part of the ship, but we typically don't include tile overlays as part of maps on the Restricted List. But the damaged area provides a landing spot for a huge, so it's better damaged anyway.
