Does an at-st's damage reduction 10 not kick-in against GGDAC's blaster 20 because he has a lightsaber in his hand? I was not sure because it is a non-melle attack and he is shooting.

Damage reduction still kicks in. Read the DR glossary entry. Adjacent enemies with lightsabers ignore Damage Reduction. Enemies with Lightsaber Throw ignore Damage Reduction. GGDAC using Blaster 20 does not meet either of those criteria.

For a stranger situation...

If GGDAC were facing off against Darth Vader, Scourge of the Jedi and he were adjacent, he could use Blaster 20 instead of attacking normally. Blaster 20 generates a non-melee attack, but since GGDAC is adjacent and has a lightsaber, Dark Armor would be ignored. That way, Vader Scourge would not be able to use Lightsaber Riposte or Djem So Style, since the attack is non-melee.

I love this game, in part for the specific but yet odd possible situations.
