They won't be running out of those Dark Times boosters -- they have 138 of them (last time I checked).

It is a great deal, but they have their way with you for shipping. I ordered the maps because 4 maps for $10 is a good deal to me. I added in some singles and $5 boosters and my shipping skyrocketed. I did find some reasonable priced mouse droids ($3) so I picked a few of them up and took out the boosters. My order was about $20 in items and $4 in shipping. Maybe I've been spoiled by coolstuff.com and their $.99 shipping. Wish I had a Minis shop in town.
Looking over the dark times roster, I'm not really that impressed. Must be why they are selling only this set for $5. must be having a hard time selling them.

Man, 3 bucks is STILL a steal for Mice. I see singles sale for 5-6 plus shipping on ebay all the time.

Another big reason is because Dark Times was one of the more prevalent boosters during the Target liquidations of SWM.

Another big reason is because Dark Times was one of the more prevalent boosters during the Target liquidations of SWM. Not where I was. Mine were all IE and JA. A small amount of Legacy and anything else was very rare.

Plenty of good pieces in Dark Times: Chewbacca Fearless Scout, Dass Jennir, Ferus Olin, 501st Legion Stormtrooper, Bomo Greenbark, Bossk Trandoshan Hunter, Dengar Hired Killer, IG-88 Assassin Droid, Rodian Brute, Zuckuss Bounty Hunter, and Trandoshan Elite Mercenary are all pretty good.
Maybe a bit weaker than the preceding 40 piece sets, but enough worthwhile stuff - it's certainly better than any of the early sets in terms of usable pieces (at least, without the v-sets). I guess there aren't any super chase pieces in the set though.

Well the sale ended yesterday; I can't imagine them selling that many, but looks like they may have...

I bought three DT boosters and they came in the mail today!!!! It has been a long time since I have ripped into a booster.
I pulled Jax Pavan, Ferus Olin and Dengar, Hired Killer. (all tradeable BTW)
Pretty fun for $15

^Lucky.... Lol, I hope mine has something that good in it. BTW, how did you GET yours that fast? Mine didn't even ship until today! They said that there would be potential delays on Black Friday orders, so I guess that's it, but it was a small order (one booster, 2 map packs). Also, I have NEVER ripped open a booster (or held one for that matter)

adamb0nd wrote:Would be fun to do a booster draft again, for old times sake You can do v-set booster drafts with http://www.bloomilk.com/BoosterWe've done it 2-3 times, and it's pretty fun. The organiser just prints out a bunch of different two booster drafts, and everyone randomly takes one. I just got: CotG 37 New Republic Jedi Master K'Kruhk VR 34 CotG 9 Republic Aayla Secura, Jedi Knight R 29 CotG 32 Imperial Spacetrooper UC 29 CotG 60 Yuuzhan Vong Warrior Caste Subcommander UC 19 CotG 11 Republic ARC Trooper Scout UC 14 CotG 41 Fringe Bespin Guard Captain UC 13 CotG 51 Mandalorians Elite Supercommando C 25 CotG 38 New Republic Jedi Trainee C 18 CotG 58 Yuuzhan Vong Peace Brigade Soldier C 17 CotG 26 Rebel SpecForce Wilderness Fighter C 15 CotG 7 Sith Tetan Shock Trooper C 14 CotG 49 Fringe Zabrak Enforcer C 14 CotG 44 Fringe Czerka Shield Technician C 13 CotG 19 Separatists Neimoidian Trooper C 12 Looks like you could make a pretty fun squad out of that.

Anybody looking for Mas Amedda? Head out to Coolstuff. They have Mas for $5.99. Normally $8.99.

^Yeah, the map pack is a great deal for $20. $10 was INSANE. Oh, and for anyone who cares to know, I just opened my FIRST BOOSTER EVER. Here's a rundown. First thing out of the box was a T'surr . Then, I pulled out a Kota's Militia. Not bad. A Death Star Engineer or Trooper (don't remember which and don't want to get up right now lol). An Imperial Sovereign Protector (!). I had just agreed to trade mine when I FINALLY got Palps on Throne, and would have a use for it. Elite Sith Assassin, which is awesome. I wanted one pretty bad, but hadn't come across any at a price I'm willing to pay for a non-rare, ya know. Then, a Togorian Soldier. These are pretty cool. Not very useful, but definitely have pretty good value (as far as, miniature websites seem to offer good prices for them generally lol) And then, out comes the big one... Fingers crossed.... AND IT'S JEDI MASTER K'RUHK!!!! A VR in my first booster, and one that isn't too shabby at that. Yeah, it was a pretty good booster...

I just think they're pretty cool, and they were proxied for a v-set piece. No, they aren't very USEFUL, but I just wanted one for other reasons. Steal force is fun too. And last time I looked, they were EXPENSIVE (by commons standards).
