Here are the Rules:
1. The character must be cannon and from the chosen faction. They can have affinity, but the character must start in the chosen faction.
2. You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)
3. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hard )
4. Please rate the characters in this contest, however don't be so base as to 1 bomb the other characters in this contest. This is a friendly contest, just have fun, be honest and do your best.
5. Voting will look like this: "I rated so-and-so(A) an 8, so-and-so(B) an 9, and so-and-so(C) a 7. My vote goes to so-and-so(B). (this vote counts as 1 point) Please feel free to comment on why you made your choice, (what you liked) or not and just put your scores.
6. Too make things fair you must vote in order to win the contest. You must vote for all characters entered in the contest and you may not rate or vote for your own character.
7. The character that is rated the highest in the Bloo Milk rating system will receive a bonus of 2 points. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive (for example: so-and-so(B) received 3 individual votes and received the bonus 2 for being the highest rated character for a total of 5 points)
8. you may not change or update the entered character AFTER the deadline (from Tuesday-Thursday you may get advice and change your character accordingly) Friday at midnight before any votes are cast is the deadline.

The schedule will be like this: Monday the winner of last weeks CCC will announce his choice for the character (including his faction), from Tuesday till Friday characters can be created/updated but on Friday you must have picked one character to submit. Then voting will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday until 4, Monday night the winner will be announced and the next character picked.

This one won my second set's final piece vote. I haven't felt the need to make a Sith Kun, since we have a pretty good range of them atm (original, albeit overcost version, Sith spirit, EPIC...), and I always have too many Sith in my sets lol RollEyes.

Anyway, I know Quad with DT looks INSANE, but if anything, this piece is WAY overcost if we judge by damage output. Consider:

To be honest, Maul, CotS which has Quad obviously has better support than this piece. It can SAFELY put out (granted, lower attack) 120, where this risks betraying your team to put out 160, so hopefully he's almost dead at the point you use it (which means no Niman bonus). ALSO, Maul can LS Assault, AND has Access to Whorm; 240 damage, or 80 ON THE MOVE. The OR doesn't have any movement breakers, and my Kun has no LS Assault.

With Bastilla for +10, Kun is more dangerous, but I don't think DT makes him overpowered.

Just thought I'd note that Wink

Anyway, my version of Kun is quite simple, but I feel I got across everything I intended when designing it.

Some abilities I'm considering for Exar:
Dark Side Aura (An enemy character within 4 squares lose 1 Force Point at the end of this characters turn.)
This is to show the effect of the darkside on force users (draining and hard to breath, ect) don't know if it's to late in the game for that to get any representation.

Pull of the Darkside (Whenever an enemy character within sight spends any amount of force points, that character joins this characters squad unless they make a save of 6. Unique characters only need to make a save of 2 instead.)
This is like a force user only version of betrayal. Strong and only masters of the force will be reasonably safe.

Would you guess expect Exar to have Melee Reach 2?

I originally had MR2 on my entry but upon further review I didn't feel his saber really fit the category. Corran Horn's saber could reach out 2+ meters from the hilt but Exar's is nowhere near that. Plus, he wasnt an overly tall individual (height=reach). It would be cool to see a big beat with MR2 but on this character it wouldn't be Accuarate.

Between the 2 abilities you mentioned above I like Dark Side Aura.

You guys have been really great with the feedback for my piece this week. Especially about my version of pushing slash. If anybody would like specific feedback from me regarding your build please let me know. I think everyone has done a great job so far and I think it's going to be another close race. I really think Kun was due for an overhaul since his original tied you into using savage so much. I had special savage builds for him but they are only really good if you know your opponent is running a heavy force user squad.

Bravo guys!! All the pieces look great! ThumbsUp

Exar Kun!!! Exar Kun!!!...exar kun

Gungan Batman Clone Alchemist
Nice version but I’m sure there is a Sith Alchemy that cost less and does the same, so not sure why you would use this one. Kuns Saber is a great idea, not sure how much use it would get though. 8.75

donnyrides Exar Kun, Sith-Sorcerer
Force Blast is nice, I had this on my first go around but the more I thought about it, it was just force lightning. Pushing Slash is good though! Really makes you think about other types of stylised attacks. 9

saber1 Exar Kun, Sith Lord
This a Kun I can appreciate, focuses on his abilities in the comic. Leaping Assault makes up for his built in swap. 9

poppins88 Exar Kun, Fallen Jedi
I’ll be honest, I all ways find it hard to judge Bounty Hunter pieces.
So, this fella is jammed packed with everything Kunion, nice everything Exar! 9

Lord_Ball Exar Kun, Jedi Padawan
Nice take on his Jedi time. Good price and DK is pretty awesome ability and flavoursome at the same time! This strikes me as an easily underrated piece that would be a hefty addition to a squad. 9.5

Pegolego Exar Kun, Champion of the Jedi
Another OR piece. Good price. Good ability spread, not over powered or off balance. Excellent OR piece! 9.5

CerousMutor Exar Kun, Dark Lord

Deathwielded Exar Kun, Revolutionary Dark Jedi
Another Bounty piece
Nice looking piece all the same. Good stretch of his abilities, (I may have gone with Motf3) 9

If I was going to vote for a Sith Kun it would be Sabers because it focuses on the Massassi, but Pegolegos realy caught me by surprise, so Vote goes to Pego!

donnyrides Sith Sorcerer 9
Interesting piece unlike the others.

saber1's Sith Lord 9
Interesting Ulic combo

poppins88's Champion of the Sith 9
Nice reversion of Sith Alchemy 5 wish I thought of that.

Lord Ball's Jedi Padawan 9
Dark Knowledge is cool.

pegolego's Champion of the Jedi 9
Sort of a less evil OR version.

CerousMutor's Dark Lord 9.5
Lots of Mutant love, neat Force Powers

Deathwielded's Revolutionary Dark Jedi 9
Nice BH piece though I feel pull of darkside is too strong.

My vote goes to CerousMutor

Gungan Batman Clone's Exar Kun, Master of Sith Alchemy 8.25
Niman Style is good, I likew the idea of giving one ally a force poer without needed force bond. I don't care for Exar Kun's Lightsaber as it is really stitutional. Master Sith Sorcery is fun.

donnyrides' Exar Kun, Sith Sorcerer 8
You and me are in agreement that Force Blast 3 fits Exar. Pushing Slash is still in need of some work.

saber1's Exar Kun, Sith Lord 9
IndiscriminateThumpUp Absorb Essence ThumbsUp I love the CE and everything he has, well done. I miss those boosts for Ulic, but I understand the concerns for card space.

poppins88's Exar Kun, Champion of the Sith 8.5
I still love Massassi Sacrifice, unfortunately there is too much on this guy even for a BHC piece alot of interesting ideas though.

Lord_Ball's Exar Kun, Jedi Padawan 9.25
I like Dark Knowledge and think it makes him really deadly when facing certain squads. Highest point cost I think we'll every see on a Padawn.

pegolego's Exar Kun, Champion of the Jedi 8.75
other than the cannonicity issues I like what he does and brings to the table. Though I think he could use Lightsaber Assualt, but that won't be much of an issue with Tott bringing a beast to mount.Wink

CerousMutor's Exar Kun, Dark Lord 8.5
Dark Armor good. Dark Side Empowered may need some work but it sounds like it could do some damage. Sith Lanvarok is intended to give you 3 attacks at +8 attack and 30 damage? (+10 damage means add to his existing damage) I think you meant only 10 damage. Again alot of cool ideas, but they need to be cleaned up and focused on.

Deathwielded's Exar Kun, Revolutionary Dark Jedi

Unfortunately this week I don't see alot of completed characters, (mine included) just some good ideas that are still in progress. I guess thats what you could expect from a week to week contest, but that usually doesn't happen.

I guess it comes down to Saber1 and Lord_ball and I think LB's is the most complete and best balanced IMO. Though Saber1's is a close second

Here are my reviews.

Gungan - Master of Sith Alchemy - I like EK Lightsaber and I think the stats are great. I don't like TE and I think SA7 with 3 force and renew2 is over powered. Rating 8.5

ME - Sith Sorcerer. can't rate myself but i can review. I really like my piece. I wanted to make a kun that didn't tie itself to savage. We already have one of those. I focused in on his Dark Side "Magic" with pushing and pulling abilities. i also wanted to make a piece that was easier to get on the table vs the high costed original.

Saber1 - Sith Lord - Very interesting piece. It pulls in all the sith EK aspects. Massassi love, Ulic love, Alchemy, and it' s a major beatstick. For 63 points I think you are giving out quite a bit of power. I think absorb essence is really cool. Rating 9

Poppins - CotS - This is such a powerful piece that I don't know how to rate it. It really has no equal to judge against. Going a higher point value than the original was a bold choice. You get your points worth here. looks like fun Rating 8.5

Lord_ball - Jedi Padawan - I like this piece a lot. You picked a spot in the Exar Kun time line and honed in on it. I nice modest set of stats making him a very usable everyday OR piece. The only thing I would change is MotF2. I don't like that he can block twice for 40 points. I really like version. Another excellent CCC build. Nice work. Rating 9

PegoLego - CotJedi - Great piece. Here again as I mentioned on Lord_Ball's Kun, I love that you honed in on a spot in Kun's timeline and built the piece for that time. His cost is right and stats are great. I really do HATE mastery abilities though. I really wish they didn't exist. Your piece reminds me of a better and OR version of Darth Maul CotS. I don't care for quad attack since I associate quad with somebody with a dbl LS or 2 Light sabers but this is personal thing with me. This is a nice very usable OR Kun nice work. Rating 9

CerousMutor - I'm seeing a pattern with the sith builds of Kun. He is so fun to make original SAs and FPs for but it's hard to wrangle in the power of the abilities. I think Dominate is a cool idea, I like dark armor as a representation of his battle suit. I think your CE makes the Massassi usable as it turns them into triple shot shooters. DS Empowered could use some cleaning but its intent is nice that you could give your massassi triple shot +12 20 dmg attacks. A lot going on but very cool piece. nice work. Rating 9

DeathWilded - Revolutionary Dark Jedi - The name is really coolThumpUp. I have a hard time reviewing BHC pieces. As I've said in the past, I really don't like mastery abilities but if you are paying 100 for a piece, mastery fits. I don't know what MotF2 is getting you since all the FPs replace turn or attacks or are single use abilities. LS block would have been a good addition to better use MotF2. I guess you could try to activate people twice. You snuck sorcery in a custom line with rage. Didn't see it at first..Blushing Anyway, you get what you pay for with this piece. Looks like fun to use. Rating 8.5

I have to agree with Deathwielded, that this week feels a little off for all of us. Maybe a piece with so many juicy details to latch onto is actually harder to work with than something that is a little less powerful or well known. My first rule of evaluation is getting a little more weight this week since there aren't any OR Kun pieces and I wasn't real excited with the Sith version (including my own).

My rating criteria:
1.Would I play this piece over already existing forms of this character?
AND
2.How do the stats and abilities relate to the price of the piece.
AND
3. How do the abilities relate to each other and to the lore of the piece itself.

With that in mind My vote goes to Lord_ball - Jedi Padawan

I was hoping to see some dumbed-down Sith versions but this OR piece really caught my attention. Nice work LB ThumbsUp

Exar Kun, Master of Sith Alchemy (Gungan Batman Clone) 8
This Kun suffers from lack of defense more so than the old one did. I LOVE Holocron Teachings, but I have mixed feelings about EK's LS... Also, not a huge fan of master sorcery on a piece with renewal 2 (though, without MotF, it's not so bad...). I think Sith Alchemy 7 is nice; it has POTENTIAL to get out of hand quickly, but may be harder to pull off than it appears.

Exar Kun, Sith Sorcerer (donnyrides) 10
MotF and LS Block are nice upgrades over the old Kun to be sure. I like this version a lot; a nice overall well balanced piece. Pushing Slash is creative (though I don't know what it represents).

Exar Kun, Sith Lord (saber1) 9
There is a lot to like here! I like Renewal 2 with MotF here. Some might argue that that could be a lot for a piece of his power and cost. Lots of interesting force powers. Still a Savage CE, but one that is less restricting than the old one.

Exar Kun, Champion of the Sith (poppins88) 9
Tough to judge BHC characters, but I think this is a job well done.

Exar Kun, Jedi Padawan (Lord_Ball) 10
GREAT young Exar. Dark Knowledge is cool.

Exar Kun, Dark Lord (CerousMutor) 9
I think Master Sith Alchemy could be a problem, since he can transfer in (I believe; it doesn't replace attacks) to execute it so easily... Anyway, TttDS is nice here, and I like Dominate (he can sit back assisting with Dominate, while charging up FP, then transfer in later and lay down some hurt).

Exar Kun, Revolutionary Dark Jedi (Deathwielded) 10
Now THIS I did not expect... TWO BHC type pieces in one contest lol. PotDS is cool. Definitely a BRUTAL (LOL) Kun.

And now, who to give my BlooMilk to...

I think my vote goes to donnyrides well-executed upgrade over the old Exar. BlooMilk

Gungan Batman Clone, Master of Sith Alchemy 8
With all that he offers for a 68 point piece, he pretty much replaces the original and that's something I'm not a fan of.

donnyrides, Sith Sorcerer 9
Great change to Pushing Slash to make it work as an SA. Quite a few options on how to use him.

saber1, Sith Lord 8.75
I feel like he's trying to do too much. I'd have preffered more of a niche for him so he wouldn't feel so overloaded.

poppins88, Champion of the Sith 8.5
as a BHC style character Quad Leaping Assault and Alchemy 4 make him somewhat formidable, the Specialized triple CE isn't my cup of tea though.

pegolego, Champion of the Jedi 8.75
Definitely has some of that what-if feel, but I can also see this as when he dueled Master Vodo. with the new additions to the OR (Rout, Mount, Etc.) Quad + Niman Mastery you probably wouldn't use Dark Temptation much, could probably use a cost boost.

CerousMutor, Dark Lord 8.75
I think Master Sith Alchemy is a bit over the top considering Epic Kun had Sith Alchemy 6 - which while only replaces attacks isn't really as strong.

Deathwielded, Revolutionary Dark Jedi 9
another take on the BHC Style. I feel like Sith Rage + Brutal Strike is unnecessary for him, and one could easily be dropped in favor of a cleaner look without losing any functionality really.

donnyrides gets my vote

Dont mean to crit, but he cant transfer, I never gave him that because it would break him.
