If the save is made, do they return to the spot they were in, or the setup zone?

Force Leap only affects the Jedi using Force Leap, not the Vong, so it still works.

I think I worded my answer badly:

Poggle's CE says "Whenever a Geonosian ally would be defeated, with a save of 16, it instead immediately returns to play with full Hit Points."

So my interpretation is that they're not defeated, so they just stay where they were. We've been playing that way in New Zealand for years, so I hope we're right....

I always played it that they come back in the starting zone. They're not defeated (no points for the opponent), but it says "returns to play" instead of "remains in play" like Avoid Defeat. *shrug*

It's like the Princess Leia, Hoth Commander, they return to play in the set-up area.

I might be wrong, but I don't think a Poggle squad has actually ever won an entire tournament in New Zealand - a Poggle squad did win the final of the Hutt Regional last year, but in that tournament you can run a different squad each game.

And apparently, the Self Destruct doesn't go off before they 'return'...
