If you were going to a tournament this weekend, where there was a condition that you had to run at least one v-set 7 piece (and at least 20 points of v-set 7 pieces, so you can't just do something like slip in a Mando Demolitionist into a previously successful Mando squad), what would you run?

--What Doesn't Kill Ya Makes Ya Stronger-- 44 Commander Sha'kel 30 Shedao Shai 30 Supreme Overlord Quorreal 28 Zenoc Quah 27 Minos, Yuuzhan Vong Warrior 18 Praetorite Vong Priest 15 Yammosk War Coordinator 6 Advance Scout (198pts. 8 activations) Most of this squad is V-Set 7.
--Bane, Sith'ari-- 63 Darth Bane, Sith'ari 62 Darth Revan, Sith Lord 36 Atton "Jaq" Rand 27 Lobot 6 Mouse Droid x2 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 (200pts. 8 activations) This one is a ton of fun. 63pts of V-Set 7 in there, baby!
And one more:
--Arkanian Troopers-- 30 Arkanian Jedi General 29 Carth Onasi, Old Republic Soldier 27 Lobot 24 Admiral Oteg 46 Elite Gunner x2 18 Old Republic Commander 14 Old Republic Senator 12 Elite Old Republic Soldier (200pts. 9 activations) These shooters pack a heck of a punch.

I'm thinking along the same lines as TINT - Arkanian Jedi General or new Vong are where I'd probably go as well.
I've tried this Sha'kel Squad - it's very similar to TINT's. I think it could be really good: --Sha'kel!-- 44 Commander Sha'kel 30 Shedao Shai 30 Supreme Overlord Quorreal 28 Zenoc Quah 27 Minos, Yuuzhan Vong Warrior 20 Yuuzhan Vong Hunter on Quednak 15 Yammosk War Coordinator 6 Advance Scout
Preferred Reinforcements: (S. O. Quorreal) 11 Advance Agent, Officer (S. O. Quorreal) 5 Zonoma Sekot Scout (S. O. Quorreal) 4 Yuuzhan Vong Worker
(200pts. 11 activations)
I'm maybe a bit scared to run Vong in a tournament, but this does look pretty fun. Doctrine of Fear on a big beatstick, and evade on Minos and Shedao means it's pretty hard to run through the beatsticks.

Ok this is hard...As per my usual these are probably not the best but they seem fun :D
--Feedin' Time Down at the Ole Sarlacc Pit-- 54 Darth Caedus, Sith Lord 51 Celeste Morne 35 Sarlacc 27 Lobot 14 Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit 8 R7 Astromech Droid 8 Sith Recruit x2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
--Commander Fox's Fun Brigade 2.0-- 66 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General 33 Captain Rex 31 Commander Fox 32 Coruscant Guard Clone Trooper x2 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 8 Mas Amedda 8 R7 Astromech Droid 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
(199pts. 12 activations)
And agreed with above, the Arkanian Jedi General really opens up some cool new squads for the OR (I actually think this one is pretty good.) I figure you have three good potential uses for the AJG, Elite Old Republic Soldiers, Elite Gunners, and the Old Republic Trooper.
--EORS-- 30 Arkanian Jedi General 27 Aric Jorgan 27 Lobot 19 Tactical Officer 18 Old Republic Commander 13 Czerka Scientist 55 Elite Old Republic Soldier x5 8 Old Republic Guard x2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 8 R7 Astromech Droid (Lobot) 12 Mouse Droid x4
(200pts. 19 activations)
After this weekend when I get to try out a few other ideas these might change.

I might be misunderstanding your post, but you know mines only triggers if an enemy moves adjacent to you, not if you move adjacent to an enemy?

I think the idea is that because Barris is "considered adjacent" to the Rancor that all of the squares adjacent (so a Huge) are subject to mines, I don't really know if that is how that works I'm no expert on Mount (I don't know if you pick a square they occupy when they are done moving or what.)
