Hi All, Well this really sunny summer weekend in Hamilton NZ, we played the Hamilcon 222pt (22/02) tournament. It was a blast... and there was much blasting to be had , and the occasional save too ;)

We had 10 participants:
2 from Hamilton (locals)
3 from Taranaki (3.5 hours away)
5 from Wellington/Hutt city. (6.5 hours away)...

4 rounds of swiss, semi finals and a final...

After the Swiss rounds , the picture looked like this:
1) Dave Moore: 10 pts. (4-0) [Prime Ordeal : Daala, Slavers and Raxus Prime Troopers]
2) Aaron: 10 pts. (3-1) [Smells like Burger Rings: Daala,Slavers and Snow Troopers]
3) Mike: 8 pts. (3-1) [Sir Lance-A-Lot: Darth Sidius, Lancer, Slavers, Drones and spotter/sniper droids]
4) Bevan: 5 pts. (2-2) [Trooperstator: Cad BH, Aurra Sing Assassin,Lancer, Darth Sidius]
5) doug*platypus: 5 pts. (2-2)
6) Paul: 4 pts. (2-2)
7) Stuart Moore: 4 pts. (2-2)
8) Richie: 3 pts. (1-3)
9) Baz: 3 pts. (1-3)
10) Nick: 0 pts. (0-4)

David took out Bevan pretty easily (sorry bev ;) ) in the Semi final... Those raxus primes with charging fire, slaving and wall climber were pretty hard to keep at bay....
Aaron took down Mike in the other semi final

(I didn't see the semi games i had to go set up my guitar rig for the gig i played that night afterwards! Thanks to the boys for coming out after the tourney and throwing tomatoes, i mean getting into the night life!)

Aaron took out David in the final with a gentlemans handshake :)

All in all , a great day/evening of minis... thanks to all for coming up :)
I learnt a few things for sure.. some great games were had ..

Daala and slavers smoked all that came their way.. whether they were anti-daala, bastila squads, or big hitter squads...

Its getting late i'll dump out all the squad names and full squad listings tomorrow....
