I would love to be able to make squads, but be able to choose who can see them. Whether it be a single friend or all of them I think that would be a great upgrade!! If it isn't possible I understand, or if it just a huge pain to make...

This seems to have been planned originally (you can choose to make custom pieces visible to 'Friends only'; it just doesn't do anything...), but Swinefeld said that it was never implemented.

I really wouldn't be a fan of restricting squads for only some people. It's not like there's a huge base of players to segment, and most of the comments seem reasonable to me.
Are you thinking in terms of secretly working something up for a tournament?

Yes I am 😊 I am just getting back in the swing of things and would love other peoples input... Without potentially having the person that will be sitting across from me looking at the squad as well.

If you do a couple of different squads at once, you'll be fine.
Unless you're the area's dominant player, I don't think people will adjust their squads for yours; based on recent tournaments, it looks like Daala, Tantives, and Talon are the things to beat at the moment.

Haha, fare enough! I don't believe this would hurt the community though. Anyone that has a squad they don't want others to see will simply not make it public anyway. Personally I enjoy feed back on my squads and making them public.(even the extremely rough draft ones) however I would like to be able to consult one or two people easily without making the squad public. It may never happen and it may be a good thing it might not. I for one would like to have that ability though.

You could always Bloo Mail the squad to them.
