Ok here is the issue:
I have Commander Gree on the map. More then 6 squares away from the group list below.
I have 3 StarCorps Troopers (A, B, C) and 1 Mouse droid all with in 6 squares of each other. Commander Gree CE states, "Allied characters are treated as having the same name as each other, only for purposes of special abilities whose name includes Squad." StarCorps Trooper A activates.
The question is does the Mouse droid count as have the same name?

No, as they are not subject to CE's, and thus cannot have their name changed.
As a note, Gree himself doesn't count either.
