Can you use Illusion twice on the same attack or does that violate the stacking rule?

If the opponent makes their save roll, can you use it again (assuming you have Master of the Force 2)?

No, 'when hit' only happens once in the effects chain, so it's pretty much like LS Block. You can reroll a save, but not Block the same attack twice. In this case, it isn't even your save.

From the FAQ: Quote:Illusion
Q: Can a character with the ability to spend Force points more than once use this ability more than once on the same attack if the attacker makes the first save?
A: No.

Good to know! That Darth Caedus was like a God among men!

Thanks.

As far as I'm aware, the precedent with the Master modifier is that it does stack with the regular ability (see Shaper and Master Shaper), so I would think the answer would be yes.

Follow-up question: could you use Illusion and then Master Illusion on the same attack? I would say so, but i believe you would have to state that before the first save roll. just like with bodyguard and any damage negating abilities.

Yes, you would have to declare one or both immediately after the attack hits, per the glossary definitions.
