Any thoughts on a Special ability to counter Ysalamiri?
I'm working on it and would like to see Jedi squads be able to handle this very popular Anti- jedi ability.

i am not aware of any canon way to cancel a yslamari other then killing it.

same here.

I would really like an effective counter made since yslamari is so very popular right now and is just killer to lots of Jedi squads.

Maybe a Tamed Vornskr or something?
I think yslamari hunter was a step in the right direction, but he just isn't as effective as it needed to be

Being Melee hurts the Vornskr. Maybe a Vornskr launcher? Like a grenade launcher but throws a Vornskr instead.

Haha love it! Or a Vornskr tamer with a Vornskr prod!

I brought the V-set Vornskr in against a Pelleaon squad once...and the big problem is he can't kill the Admiral in one hit without help.


Personally I think if there was a way so that Jedi could still use abilities like Defense, Deflect, Riposte etc while being attacked by people in the bubble (not necessarily in the bubble themselves) then it would be a great boon to them, I just have no idea how you would even start to go about wording that.

Bring in 5 brutes + crumb vs most anything and the brutes do a lot of damage at +8 for 20. Vs Pelleaon bring in the Ysalamiri hunter and he can one shot Pelleaon.

Ravenous Vornskr's have Stealth and can benefit from CE's. (swap)((next best thing to a launcher))

Lol. When I'm sorting minis, I always catch myself going 'ok, I've got 4 Duros Mercenaries... 3 Ewok Scouts... 5 Momaw Nado--', then have to think for a moment before realizing they're Ithorian Scouts LOL

How about this: "No Blanket Statements About Force Immunity, Please! - Characters in your squad (including this character) can use Force powers with 'Lightsaber' in their name regardless of the Ysalamiri special ability if it is not their turn."
