Location: Akron Ohio, just south of dantooine.
FF2 extends Bane's force powers by 2. Lightning is easy, it goes to range 8.
I'm wondering about Leaping Assault. Based on Swinefeld's Vong Seer range extender ruling I'd say no:

"So, to summarize, if the ability says 'range; x' or affects other characters or terrain with x squares, it can be extended. If it affects the character with the ability, no."

Correct?

actually the designers intended Leaping Assault to be extended by force Focus and also Nomi Sunriders CE. Yes it's range can be extended Sithborg concurred. I don't think Swinefeld would overturn that ruling.

Extending the Leaping range can be quite an effective way to jump into Ysalamiri range and pummel the guy to deactivate it

Just out of curiosity (I know this sounds stupid) then why doesn't FF2 work with sweep?

Because Sweep doesn't have a range, it's only adjacent characters. Now if it had wording like "This character can attack each character within 1 square" that could be extended. But that wouldn't work as then you probably couldn't attack diagonally ect.
