If a character has Beskar'gam can that character choose to roll the save and then bodyguard the damage after the save is rolled. Example I deal 30 damage to person B, they use Beskar'gam and make the save taking 20, can they then reassign the 20 damage to a Bodyguard or does Bodyguard have to be elected to be used and not a save rolled? I was watching a game and saw this come up so I igured I'd go here.
Also, if a character has Reflect and uses it and makes the save, and the opponent misses the save can they bodyguard the damage from the reflect?

For the first, I remember the precedent for Dark Armor or DR10. You either take the damage or not. There is no parceling. Either you take the damage and reduce or you pass it along. If the BG has Besk'argam, then they take then reduce.
As to the second, I don't know. I assume so as the damage is just assigned like any other damage.

I believe the answer is no. Bodyguard "If an adjacent allied character would take damage from an attack" you can't use it take things like Push or Grenades, I'd assume that Reflect damage is the same but I could be wrong.

From the resolving effects list: Quote:11. Resolve "when this character takes damage" effects. Some effects/abilities trigger (or can be voluntarily triggered) when the target takes damage, such as Shields and Bodyguard. Perform this step only if damage will be applied, using the simultaneous effects rule as necessary. If Bodyguard is being used, it must be resolved prior to other effects like Shields, Damage Reduction, and Dark Armor. Basically, if you use Bodyguard, it will happen before any damage reduction abilities, so the only way to then reduce damage is if the bodyguard has a damage reducing ability. As for reflect, Reflected damage is no longer damage from an attack, it is damage generated by Lightsaber Reflect, making it so Bodyguard cannot be used against it.
