So I was just building a squad, and Admiral Saul Krath can be in a squad with Malakili Rancor Keeper because his name contains Malak?

That's almost as great a loophole as Squint/Crusader/Malak in OR.

Yes, that is how it works. And also, yes, it is an unintended loophole in this case.

So you can move Karath into something like an Imperial or Republic Squad for some cool creations!

For a moment, I thought: "Hey! With the Jedi Crusader you could bring Admiral Saul Karath into the Old Republic!"

Anyways, Malakili needs to be errata'd to give him the following ability:

I'm Not a Sith Lord! - This character does not count as having 'Malak' in it's name, only for the purpose of the Affinity of Unique Old Republic commanders.

Or something equally as ridiculous :P

You can but its a rather expensive combo for an ok Commander Effect. Unless you are getting full use out of Malakili and Saul (I'm not sure where that is exactly) I don't know when it would be worth the points.
