As previously posted here is the full and updated information for FrostyCon 2015 in a January thawed WNY. I'm looking forward seeing many of you make the return journey and a warm welcome to newcomers to the event weekend this year!  So without further ado....The Friday Night Follies presents.... (Friday Feb 6th - Let's Make a Deal!) As we have many folks traveling in, the KQotR will be moving to Saturday night, so that means open gaming and I have three doors that we can choose from for good old fashioned game night fun... Door #1: Star Trek Attack Wing (Dominion War - DS9 Mass Battle)Door #2: Sails of Glory (Adventure and battle on the high seas, arrrrrghh matey!)Door #3: Wings of War (Mass battle, who doesn't love a little WWI biplane combat)Door #4: Imperial Assault2015 WNY Regional:(Saturday Feb 7th) Where:Pro Level Gaming 6409 Dysinger Rd. Lockport, NY 14094 The Details:Cost $15.00 Registration opens @ 11:30AM Opening round commences @ 12:00PM Constructed 200 Current Restricted Map list A All current v-sets are sanctioned up to and including Warfare & Subterfuge... T.O. – Gerry Russell a.k.a. (DARPH NADER) Prize support – Grand Prize is a MIB ArtFX Han Solo & Chewie, other prizes TBD *** Must have a minimum of 10 players ***Event trophies by: Engineer King/Queen of the Ring(Saturday Feb 7th) Where:Chez Russell 300 Lincoln Ave Lockport, NY The Details:Cost $5.00 Registration opens @ 7PM * subject to change depending on WNY regional results.*

(DARPH NADER) Prize: Winner takes entire cash pool "King of the Ring" trophy by: masterbudwine "Face Your Destiny"(Sunday Feb 8th) Where:Pro Level Gaming 6409 Dysinger Rd. Lockport, NY 14094 The Details:Cost $10.00 Registration opens @ 11:30AM Opening round commences @ 12:00PM All current restricted maps will be legal for this plus the 2014 GenCon Mystery Map (Mining Colony Sub-level) All current v-sets are sanctioned up to and including Warfare & Subterfuge... Competitors will submit their 200 point competitive list to me prior to the event for approval; after which each piece including reinforcement & reserve options will have their base marked with the owner/player’s name on it. Once all squads have been reviewed and tagged a single piece will go into a basket for random selection from the field and that shall be your match play destiny for that particular round. Players will be given ample time (15min) to review their squad & the map chosen; time will not be an issue as we can shift back to my house if we run short of time at PLG. We will follow this format for the entirety of the event. It is entirely possible that a play could select his or her build, if that be their destiny. T.O. – Gerry Russell a.k.a. Just a thought...since, in FYD, we won't be playing our own squads (maybe) we could do a random map of X/2 where X equals the # of participants? Soooo, 10 players is 5 maps of randomness.

I'll have Imperial Assault with me. I'll be good to play either the skirmish mode (1v1 like SWM) or the Campaign mode (4 rebels vs 1 imperial Dungeon Master type of guy).

One additional bookkeeping note as it pertains to both all events.
I will only be participating in these events in order to prevent a bye situation from occurring.
In good conscience, I don't want potentially bump someone who travelled in just for them to ride the pine as it were.

Pot calling the kettle black. Since you made the comment first in this thread - you are the pot, I am the kettle.  And we both know that all those Ewoks counted as activations too! Just Thrawn and 2 Zyg slavers (even pre-errata!) by themselves would be a hilariously AWFUL squad :ewok:

Boatload of activations still.
