--Two Solos--
Two Solos
50 Han Solo, Galactic Hero
25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight
23 Anakin Solo
23 General Wedge Antilles
13 Czerka Scientist
7 Felucian
3 Mouse Droid
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
(150pts. 9 activations)

The idea for this squad is to give Han jolt and when he attacks with cunning, he can activate people as well. If the first attack hits and activates, shoot at another target to try to activate it if he has line of sight. Wedge also gets twin and gives evade to Anakin and the felucian mostly. The felucian goes and tries to cause damage, but will probably end up dying. The felucian will have both evade and parry to annoy longer before dying eventually to give Anakin boom. Leia, thru the mouse, will give he felucian or anyone else twice the saves. Like Han for double evades.

Thoughts?

Not too shabby! I like it. You figure if you play a GOWK squad you can even combine fire to make sure you hit those pesky people with high defense. I like it.

Looks like a very well-rounded 150 build. No real glaring weaknesses here. Good job, and this is probably a tourney-caliber build.

So, the only rating this has is a 5, which to me is a bad rating. The rater didn't post a comment on it, so I don't know if there is a problem with it I don't know about or if that was just a random low rating. The only reason I ask is because I was actually going to use this squad this month for a tourney, and I wanna be prepared. Thanks for any additional input!

2 things.

1. A link to the squad would help if you want the comments made on it, and to have it rated. I am not likely to go chasing down a link, but if you posted one, I usually will click on it.

2. A 5 is not a low rating. A 5 is exactly average. This is the problem with rating systems in general, different people use the scales differently. For me, a 5 is what every ok squad gets (I didn't rate yours because of #1). Higher than a 5 requires being pretty well tricked out. 9-10 requires additionally, all the scrubs picked properly to apply to the current meta game, and to be a squad that can compete with the best of the best. 1-4 are ratings I use when the squad has some more serious flaws to it. In particular, your squad has low hps, and Anakin isn't a terribly great figure for it. You also are wasting space with Wedge, who is only affecting the Felucian, Anakin (who you have one boost for), czerka and 2 ugs. Han already has evade. You can replace Wedge with a figure like Dash, and get a much stronger squad out of it. So I can totally agree that a 5 is pretty well deserved.

Ah, see I average a 5 out of 10 to be a .5 or 50%, which is bad to me as that's a failure in the terms of grading criteria. I had not set the 5 in the rating system in my mind as a C, or average. But that's why the rating system is a subjective issue.

As to the squad itself, I can see how wedge is probably wasted points, but I had wanted to prolong Anakin's use with more survivability. You said that Anakin doesn't fit in here, why is that? I'm not exactly using him a melee beat, but more an exploder after the demise of the Felucian as he could do more damage blowing up than attacking. If I had Dash, he would be a serious consideration to put in this squad, but alas I have not had the capital to invest in him as IE came out while I was away at school and unemployed. I think I should add the link, I hadn't realized it wasn't included in this thread

And thanks for the input! :)

Nice job! I've been wanting to use Han, and now Wedge-less squads are gettin somewhat viable.
