The New republic seems to be getting stronger as new sets is relased. The vong also are growing more and more power hungry with each figure. The republic will never go down without a decent fight consisting of heavy losses on each side. The sith are just massive power houses with more cost points and damage potential then common sense. The fringe are fantastic squad fillers and evan used by themselves can put on an impressive showdown. Rebel have the abilty to take a game with relative ease. empire has its more than fare share of deadly commander effects. Old republic has been givin extrodinary additions since bastila shaan. Mandalorian squads get more and more deadly with the right squad combinations and seperatist can now hold there own thanks to pieses like GGDAC.
But what my main point is that with all these powers these squads contain. what will lead to there down fall?
I dont want this topic to turn into a dicussion about how good GOWK is. What i want to know is that suming up every faction what is the most likley thing to lead to its failure.

My theory is that: new republic has the low costs but not the high hit points sith are too expensive to use more than one republic can be brought down by some dang good SA's vong have that 6 square invisible force sheild because of comander effects (no mouse droids) and melee fringe used more as support than its own faction rebel no real attack and defense boosting commander effects empire can be a threat but but can also be an easy win mandalorian lacks force potential old republic needs more uniques seperatists just lack alot of power
what do you think. Critisism on my ideas welcome.

Based on what I've played, here are my opinions: Empire has a lot of commander effects and a few power pieces, but most of their pieces have low hp. Fringe isn't really good as it's own faction. It's meant to be mixed. Take out the Republic commander(s), and the squad will fail. Seps may have the firepower needed to compete, but their hp is low on a lot of their pieces (nicknamed glass cannons). And it's hard to mix their good non-droid unique pieces with semi-good droids. Sith make for a low activation squad because of a lot of high costs. Rebels just have low attack and defense overall.

For me Id have to say that the reason Sith are not as good as they could be is because of NO DOOR CONTROL, and NO TEMPO, they are one of the few factions that have virtually non of these, you need fringe for door control and you dont have a dodonna for them,
sure they cost high but that is only for the sith lords, they still have the stormtroopers for sith.
Vong, there main weakness is same as sith no door control, but there biggest 2 weakness's are over crowding, for missles and strafe etc, and only 1 shooter, this is a big issue for them
Republic, well to many commanders to few fighters, I mean they have good CE's but they usually have around 3-5 commanders, and once the fighters are dead than they cant defend themselves
NR, the only real fighters they have are unique so they are subject to bounty hunter squads, no door control, and they have good commanders but at a price, so less activations but luckily dodonna can be on there team
OR, not enough to keep up, sure they can be a loose cannon but they tend to be easy to take down, and not enough commanders
Imperial, TO MANY COMMANDERS in most squads, making it hard to win if there main piece is defeated, very little door control, LOW HP, HIGH COST
Rebel, not enough survivors, to many over costed pieces that go down easy, but have good CE's for cheaper than NR
Seps, subject to ion gun, NOT ENOUGH CE's GRANTED TO DROIDS, over crowding, cheap but easy to take out, subject to ion gun, GGDAC is about the only ce that is worth my time with no limits, for the others you need mouse droids, Lucky for them they have Gha to make them cheaper and more over crowded
Mandos, OVER COSTED, hard to out activate, good fire power but low enough hp that 1 good jedi can take most out. good commanders but hard to fit with anything
Fringe, good faction but not on its own, very little CE's and needs to be mixed to preform well
