Thanks for sharing this, Jak.
I am interested in this kind of thing, purely for insurances or replacement valuation purposes,
or as a passing curiosity...
Ah,
but... they do not take into account what the market will bare...
or the differences in the amount of Rares and VR's which were printed...
Still, as I have said in the past somewhat - SWMinis, being mass produced plastic... they are not too much an appreciable asset (as much as we may love them to bits) - maybe in some time, their value will hold,
but to many, SWMinis are a depreciable asset at best.
Like your car, the moment you drive it off the lot... some value is lost, and will be lost as time happen (unless the car become customised and maintained etc).
still,
not too many would buy into the minis lump-sum like that,
and even in breaking up the collection into themed sets...
it is somewhat a long shot.
I watch, purely as a valuation question for future reference...
It would be lucky to make ~$580USD to $1, 127USD (50c - $1 per unit cost).
that is even with being mint in condition, and maybe with some 'signed cards' or special promos (the promos from the leagues, in mint condition, can fetch a high prices as a complete set).
what do others think?
Do I underestimate the sales potential of "Legends Star Wars Figures"?
How do people think that lot in question will sell?
What is something that would make a collection "stand out"?
