Recently, I've had fun coming up with extremely simple thematic squads - sometimes using only pieces from the early sets. --Universal Strike Force-- 21 Young Jedi Knight 19 New Republic Commander 60 New Republic Trooper x6 (100pts. 8 activations) --Tenel Ka's Strike Team-- 33 Queen Mother Tenel Ka 57 New Republic Commander x3 110 New Republic Trooper x11 (200pts. 15 activations) I like this one because you can divide it into four smaller units: a Commander and either four Troopers or three troopers and Tenel Ka. --Bacara's Strike Force-- 23 Clone Commander Bacara 77 Elite Clone Trooper x7 (100pts. 8 activations) This one in particular looks fun  : --Air Support for the Senate-- 29 Captain Argyus 69 Nikto Gunner on Desert Skiff x3 21 Admiral Yularen 80 Senate Commando x4 (199pts. 9 activations) And lastly, even though I'm apparently the 6th person to make this squad: --Mini Delta Squad-- 30 Republic Commando Training Sergeant 19 Republic Commando - Boss 16 Republic Commando - Fixer 16 Republic Commando - Scorch 16 Republic Commando - Sev 3 Mouse Droid (100pts. 6 activations)

@corellianCommedian, The Desert Skiff squad, is it fun to see so many desert skiffs in the same place at the same time? that could be fun, with 30/40dmg pontoons floating around... @OP, hmmm, mostly I play dynamic duos, though for 200 or 250, you can't go past the classic rebels, with Scoundrel Han; still a very fun squad. GreivousDAC + Nackht + sanhill etc, or wat tambor, san hill and a lot of droids. Fun squads. BobaMerc, Proxy, Tactics Broker, at 500, GG:DAC, AV:SA (or maul), Darth Sid DLotS, tyrannus Legacy of the Darkside (or RotS Count Dooku), Muun Tactics Broker, San Hill or Wat Tambor, Gonk Droid x 2 Gha Nackht and as many 4pt droids that points can buy. (droid mark, droid mark, droid mark hehehe). It's fun when, 15-20 battledroid defeat an AT-AT due to "Ponderous Relentless". doooh, there's also the Destroyer/E522 batalion Wat Tambor, Whorm, Lott Duurd or San Hill, Battle Droid Officer, Gonk Droid x 3 Repair Droid, Telosian Tank Droid Destroyer Droid x 2, E522 for the balance (x4 I think), and 2 ugnaught demolitionists ---- you can swap out the telosian tank droid and a few others for the Dwarf Spider Droid and Hailfire Droid x 3, and many local variants run the Kazdan "crab droid" mirror variant, with Jawas if they know they're facing a droid squad. For the republic in 500, General Skywalker, Mace Windu or General Windu, Yoda (RotS), GOWK, AT-RT x 3, CS Padme or queen amidala, and as many human fringers and gran-raiders as possible (or, clone troopers). happy days.

that could be fun, with 30/40dmg pontoons floating around... Yeah, the skiffs will go down quickly, but it lets the Senate Commandos get around for their 120-160 damage barrages

not to mention, Skiffs are still ridiculously expensive - I've only ever seen 1 in the local scene since 08 lol.

Huge sep player for life and I enjoy all of their different builds, Dooku/Grievous HoH, Destroyers, huges, reserves, etc... But my favourite teams for competitive and fun are:

I just ran Celeste, new Boba, Lobot, Qourreal and 4 Chazrachs at the NZs! That ruled. I ran pretty much the same thing at the NZs two years earlier (sub Boba for Zam). So much fun...
