Good questions!
I would presume so. The 10hp is a little bit tricky because they can't have hit points. That part may make the whole thing null and void. Needs a ruling.

Another instance where having spirits classed as non-living would remove ambiguities.

Odd case... I'm formulating some thoughts, so no ruling just yet.

Spirits are never adjacent, he wouldn't benefit from Life Support

I thought for sure that this had already been ruled a "yes" some time in the past... I guess I was wrong?

Official rulings really need to be posted in an official location (even if made at Gencon) otherwise it is just hearsay as far as I'm concerned. Too hard to keep track otherwise.

Heh, and there it is. I don't even remember posting it... swinefeld wrote:Quote:Can I use essence of Life to save a Force Ghost from being defeated when the force ghost is defeated by an enemy using a force point? Yes. Nothing in the Spirit rules prevents it.
This applies only to the situation where an enemy spends a force point to defeat the spirit character directly.
The spirit character will NOT then have 10 Hit Points, because it has no rating to begin with, and a character's hit points cannot be increased above it's starting amount. http://www.bloomilk.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=18083
