I was wondering if there was a character who gave people avoid defeat through a CE (not Emergency Life Support). Anyone know of a character like that??

The Yun-Ne'Shel Priest, Magnaguard Officer, Dessel, and Mara Jade Skywalker, Jedi Master all give Avoid Defeat to certain types of allies.
Princess Leia, HC, Boss Nass, and Poggle all allow a character to avoid defeat and be returned to the starting area with full HP.

And don't forget my personal favourite Passal, on a single save 11 he brings a huge sep droid back to 40 hp
