If the force spirit is the indirect target of Jedi Mind Trick 2, does it have to roll for activation?

Force Spirits do not count as adjacent so they cannot be indirect targets of JMT2.
However, they do count as "within 6" so they could be affected by Sith Sorcery. In that case, they would roll for activation.
