@ jak
indeed. It's an addictive thing - maybe because of all the people you meet as well,
while playing? maybe it's the co-op aspect or the flashing lights?
although, on this new Battlefront, the vistas are just so much more awesome,
and if capitalships are maneuverable for space battles... that's the icing on the cake hehehe.
pay to play has always dismayed me...
I mean, if pay-to-play was a thing, why make the base game cost 5 - 10 times a movie ticket?
if you want me to pay for all the DLC to ongoing support all the awesome people that put code into a procedural game etc,
why not lower the cost of the base game, and make everything cumulative hehehe
@Mando
Yup, I would have to heartily agree it is disappointing the Clone Wars era will maybe be DLC;
having some eyecandy from that era (or even TOR/KOTOR era in a battlefront format?)
it would ameliorate the JJTrekWars facets
(enough about that though - we're getting a Princess Leia and the Khyber Crystal movie, Han Solo, Yoda, Jango Fett/Boba Fett movies, so those're cool, even if VII looks lackluster plotwise)
zooming around in first person in the starfighters,
it was evocative of Xwing, Jedi Starfighter or Rogue Squadron,
but more awesome, because all the cockpit displays moved and the damage looked nice,
the icing on the cake being high-res backgrounds
@all
apologies for a hype topic -
i seldom get hyped for many things,
but this one is something preordered that,
it looks to be living up to the hype and the legacy;
its a battlefront game, it's on a playstation...
(don't get me started with the game console not reading my previous games from previous consoles the company made;
i mean, not even a discount for proof of purchase on old games "we already bought" or a mail-away memory conversion system?
talk about no loyalty reward program for playstation gamers eh?)
