What was/is you favorite squad you ever played and why? Also, do you ever still play it? Tweak it? Is is still viable?
I have played a whole lot of games since Rebel Storm until today. Black and Blue, Panaka Swap, Gungans (I really like,) and a very low activation Imperial squad.
Overall, I had more fun with a Death Shot Mandalorian squad that I had not a lot of expectations for. It had Double Twinning cloaked shooters and was so much fun killing things that couldn't shoot back with DS of their own or killing them as they killed you. Played it to a top 4 finish in Michigan at a regional finishing 3rd. Was a lot of work with positioning but a great amount of fun. I tend to play squads prepping for a regional only to change at the last minute to something I rarely play. I kind of like seeing how I respond to myself and my opponent.
Great fun with the O/R pilots backed by Klatoonian Cpt. and Bastila and a Senator. Great finish with that as well in Kokomo.
I haven't played the DS Mandos really since then as I move on and play new things as each VSET is completed. I do think it is still viable and there is a good squad still there, especially with Forward positioning, etc. Maybe I'll get back to the Mandos soon.

I'd say my Caedus of Immortality squad is still my favorite to play. I love tank squads and this one has some firepower behind it also. Favorite thing to do with it is to use SBM and group up a lot of opponents minis and then use Zannah's Force corruption 3 on them. If they are within 6 of Exar's Dark Aura, its a save 15 to prevent 30 auto dmg. Pretty brutal! I took it to the Wisconsin regional 3 years ago and finished 2nd place, having beaten a undefeated Naboo deathshot squad in the final 4 to get to the final round. I still think its is very viable today in the meta, but its not as good as TJ's Dance of Death: UberTank, which I have also had a lot of fun playing to.

Nice squads so far. As an all time fan of Grievous squads I am torn between DAC and a swarm of Battle droids which has shifted to include the latest Nute Gunray and the battle droid sergeant. But even it's classic form:
--Return of The Battle of Naboo-- 63 Grievous on Tsmeu-6 Wheel Bike 17 Viceroy Nute Gunray 15 Battle Droid Sergeant 12 Gha Nachkt 8 Battle Droid Officer 81 Battle Droid x27 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(199pts. 33 activations)
As well I love the reserves playstyle of this team and I still think it's almost tier 1 good (of only they had a cheaper force renewal piece (holosid for seps!)
--The Confederate Coffers-- 57 Count Dooku, Separatist Leader 43 Wat Tambor, Techno Union Foreman 36 Darth Sidious 19 Monnok 17 Ghhhk 15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer 10 San Hill 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
Preferred Reserves: (Dooku SL) 15 BX Commando Droid Sniper (Dooku SL) 6 Geonosian Drone x2 (Lobot, CLO) 28 Mira of Nar Shaddaa (San Hill) 9 Battle Droid Officer (San Hill) 9 Poggle the Lesser (San Hill) 3 Geonosian Drone (Wat Tambor TUF) 19 BX Commando Droid Spotter (Wat Tambor TUF) 3 Mouse Droid
(200pts. 8 activations)

My favorite squad is my old Mavericks from back in old days on WotC under the name "JediMasterZack". Got into an arguement with Bill(Billiv15) about how Han Scoundrel was a good piece and worth using. Few more comments later and him and I had a date for a match on Vassal, my Mavericks vs his 150pt B&B. In the end, I won and wasn't shy about saying I was right. This squad, or some variation of, has been my baby ever since. My signature squad if you will.
--Mavericks 150pt-- 46 Han Solo, Scoundrel 36 Yoda of Dagobah 28 Luke Skywalker, Hoth Pilot Unleashed 20 Princess Leia 8 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Spirit 8 R2-D2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(149pts. 7 activations)
Now, vs other 150pt teams I feel like it would be rather weak and easily defeated. I could easily make it with V-sets to make it new again, but IMO that defeats the point.

I think my favorites to play are between:
--Death Watch Destroyers III-- 57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander 45 Darth Maul, Death Watch Overlord 28 Kelborn 24 Mercenary Commander 11 Mandalorian Scientist 8 R7 Astromech Droid 18 Death Watch Mercenary x3 9 Mouse Droid x3
I like trying to make things work and tinkering with mechanics.
I love 100 point games. fast, and to the point. My group normally plays without time limits and gambit. We play for fun so we play until one squad is totally gone or one person knows it's game over. --Dash of Ventress-- 43 Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 9 Battle Droid Officer 8 B2 Super Battle Droid 12 Battle Droid x3
and --Maul and the Lish Mob-- 53 Darth Maul, Champion of the Sith 20 Bith Black Sun Vigo 21 Aqualish Assassin x3 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
none of these are crazy powerful, but they are just fun and easy to play
