Lets say I gave a Gonk Power Droid Self Destruct Sequence 10 with a Jawa clan leader. Would he do 30 damage (with Self Destruct 20) to each adjacent character?

My gut says, yes. He'd do 30DMG as both trigger. (kinda like in hollywood, there's a boom, and a secondary boom from the leftovers reacting again).  Though, in all probability, it will be ruled, it is the higher damage only, so 20DMG...

As they are separate abilities, they can be used in conjunction. You would first use Self Destruct Sequence, then, as you remove the mini from play, you would then resolve self destruct.
Keep in mind that abilities that trigger when damaged, like Damage Reduction would trigger twice, as the damage from Self Destruct and Self Destruct sequence are separate from each other.

woohoo! the ability to use damage reducing abilities is hollowing somewhat, yet still, woohoo! I was wrong about the rules, in a good way this time
