So i was thinking about how bad it stinks sometimes when you find the perfect piece for a commander effect but your droids cant take advantage of it. How bout a cool abiltiy that could make it work. Im not sure who to give it to, but it would be another cool ability for an awesome piece. Here's my idea of the ability.
Special Abilities
Command Interpreter: While this character is within 6 squares of a commander, all droid followers on your squad are subject to commander effects.
So what do you think?

I think its interesting, though it probably won't be utilized. I'd like to see it on Kyle Katarn since he does speak binary.

Sounds great to me. And I know what you are talking about about how it sucks to have a great CE that droids can't use.

What I never understood was the droids were linked to the ship in space that controlled them and alot of the commanders have ranges on their CEs I can see not allowing them to benefit from CEs unless specifically stated because the droids did not take orders from just anyone. There is usually a commander droid somewhere giving orders. I think of them as slaved remote units that are linked to a "mother computer".

Maybe a droid that functions kind of like a Czerka Scientist? (and just as flimsy) Base damage 10 gets Jolt, base 20 gets Accurate. Or the other way around... Wouldn't be a big blanket CE like GGDAC (but would work with it )

How about: Human-Cyborg Relations: Allied droids within 6 squares are subject to Commander Effects.

Human-Cyborg Relations sounds pretty cool. As to accurate shot on droids: the sniper is really the only option for me. The Commerce Guild Homing Spider Droid is just too dang big for me to use effectively. I think a CE that granted accurate shot for droids would be overpowered in combo with GGDAC. Anyone else agree?

Yeah, I have to agree. It would need to be along the lines of "at the end of this characters turn, one droid ally within 6 squares gains accurate shot for the rest of the round". That wouldn't be too bad, but could still allow some ugly combos

I think it would be better to just give the seps/fringe a figure with force sense, then it isn't too overpowered but will still let the droids hit those pesky things with stealth.
