Join us for LBB 5.5 or 5 ½ or 5b or LBB 5 now with more Logan than before.
Prepare yourself for the 5th Annual LBB Tournament. It should be a fun day. Here are the specifics, so mark it on your calendar and we’ll see you there!
When: Saturday, March 19 Where: Kryptonite Kollectibles, 1441 Plainfield, Janesville, WI Time: register at 11:30am, play runs 12 – 5 pm edited Format: 200 point squads, normal build rules Bring a map (just like you do for Regionals); we’ll follow the Open map list so you’ve got a lot to choose from We’ll also follow the SWMGPA/DCI scoring system, time limits, etc like a Regional Four * one hour rounds Entry Fee: none; it’s free this year! Prizes: none; so no worries about trying out that fun team (well, okay … we may have a few)
All the fun of a Regional, but the lower stress and higher frivolity of a Friday night.
Did we say fun? Remember, this isn’t meant to be ultra-competitive, so you can leave your GenCon team at home. :>)

Well, well! I might actually be in back in town for this one. I haven't played a game of minis against another person in a couple of months but, hey, might as well give it a shot and have some fun. We'll see. I'll pencil it in on my calendar.

This just made my day! Unless the fam has something planned for the afternoon I should be able to make it. I have appointments in the morning so I didnt think I'd be able to make it but I probably will be able to now. Now what squad to bring? PS: I will be very, very rusty.

The top three all ran NR. J's squad was Jaina, SotJ with Jagged Fel HOS, Ganner, Wedge, and Han, Corellian Legend.
Lillian and I both ran Lando, NR Liaison. Her squad included Mara Jade Skywalker, Jedi Master, Luke GH, and Kell Tainer.
My squad was Lando with Gantoris, Exar Dark Force Spirit, Wedge, Jan Ors, Kyle Katarn, and a TBSV
Tim (Chargers) ran Thrawn swap with Emperor Roan Fel
Logan's squad was OR Nomi, Head of the Jedi Order, Crado, Sylvar, and Kerra Holt with two Nightsister Hunters
RJ ran old school Rebels with Luke HOY, Princess Leia, Chewbacca Enraged Wookiee, Obi-Wan, and Han Rogue

New republic does have a lot,of awesome builds. Do you think it had more to do with the event being seen as a fun event or do you think new republic will have a showing like this through the regional season

I know J felt that his squad was not quite good enough for a competitive format, so I doubt Jaina/Jag will make much of a splash. I personally am planning to rework my squad for Regional season, but I don't know that it'll ever be top tier. But never underestimate the creativity of people in our community.
