thanks for the handy link,
what a neat film huh?
indeed - it was interesting, its like the comic-book Darth Maul brought to life.
I hope some have backed it up
because the way infudgement is going with things like ST:Axanar etc,
it might not be around for long...
I digress -
how acrobatic was Maul? much moreso than even the EP1 film.
The combat choreography was fun.
It makes me want to see what they'd do with Maul...
early maul vs black sun, cyborg/tyrant maul as an outer-rim warlord.
An earlier variant of Ep1
called for Darth Maul to fight Qui Gon atop a MTT rigged with a hypermatter bomb on the way to the palace.
that would have been awesome!
An injured Qui-Gon then is more plausibly beaten by an equally injured Maul...
the MTT crashes and explodes, leading to ObiWan and QuiGon being separated in the debris
destroying part of the palace etc.
Maul retreats, and Qui-Gon hunts (suggesting part of the loss was due to QuiGon being near the darkside?)
I digress again - it's just Ray Park as Darth Maul was awesome.
