Check out the kickstarter at the following link. Only 7 hours left to fund it, so sorry for the short notice! I just found out about it today and put in my pledge for 4 of the new maps. Christopher west always makes good quality maps that are unique and fun to play on! If you are into Star Wars RPG like I am, check this kickstarter out and see if these maps are to your liking. Indeed, intriguing line of question jak... speculating it may be as a gauge of interest feedback mechanism for the artist? (to determine back-of-envelope viability RoI) alternately, it could be 'cross-posting fatigue' etc, whatever the reasons - the maps look awesome, and the more maps the awesomer -  they're just so well put together.

I'll just repost what Chris said on kickstarter here after I brought up that he could have posted on smgamers and bloomilk and possibly gotten more funding to get more strectch goals met. So hopefully Chris can accommodate those who missed out on the funding and can still get some maps for his next Maps of Mystery.

I donated for this after the kickatarter ended. Emailed Chris twice with no response. Sense I cannot receive the kickatarter updates for it what is going on with them.

I pre-ordered last year's but then wound up getting duplicates after getting them as prize support. This year I'll pick them up at GenCon if I don't win them somewhere beforehand.
